Recovery
Having a disaster recovery plan is a set of procedures designed to prepare a business in response to an interruption of network services during a natural disaster or catastrophe and can include hardware or software malfunction or failure. Most often voice, data, internet access, and other network service share the same network resources.
A contingency plan is vital. A disaster plan ensures that all resources and services that rely on the network are back up and running in the event of an interruption in service within a certain time frame.
An Interruption of services can affect a business’s ability to function, access data, and communicate with staff and customers.
