Structured Cabling
Systems
In a complete system of cabling and associated hardware, which provides a comprehensive
telecommunications infrastructure, that includes twisted pair, shielded twisted pair, unshielded twisted pair, fiber optic cabling patch panels, patch cables, and coaxial cabling. Structured cabling is the design and installation of the cabling system that will support multiple hardware uses and be suitable for any standard or complex system.
Structured cabling design is performed according to industry standards that define how to lay the cabling. This provides a flexible cabling system to address moving, adding, and changing the infrastructure and the network grows.
Backbone cabling provides interconnection between telecommunication rooms and equipment rooms that will run from floor to floor connecting to horizontal cabling that connects to the workstation or end user.
